A number of Chicago Public League teams took part in the Julian and Big Dipper (Rich High School) holiday tournaments. The CPL was there to cover the action throughout the tournaments. Hyde Park took third at the Big Dipper, while CPL teams took the top five places at the Julian tournament, led by Urban Prep-Bronzeville, which defeated Chicago Richards in the title game.
