CPS Alumna And Former WNBA Player Linnae Harper To Host Celebration of Chicago Women’s Basketball Event Over Spring Break

Chicago Public Schools Alumna Linnae Harper is hosting a Spring Break event titled ‘Celebration Of Chicago Women’s Basketball’ April 3-6 at Phillips High School. Harper starred at Whitney Young during her time in high school and went on to play collegiately and professionally in the WNBA, including time with the Chicago Sky!

The Celebration of Chicago Women’s Basketball will host 6-17 year-olds for activations in basketball clinics, panel discussions, workshops, yoga and more. This event is under the umbrella of Harper’s non profit, ‘That Harper Kid,’ which supports underprivileged youth in the Chicagoland area with essential resources and educations tools through sports, health, fitness, youth leadership development, community leadership and outreach development and more.
