Young boys volleyball swept Payton in their first matchup of the season Thursday, March 23, taking down the Grizzlies 25-21, 25-23 at home in front of a packed Young gym. The win marks the Dolphins’ fifth consecutive win over Payton since the Grizzles took down Young in the 2018 season. Coach Michael Quevedo brings back nearly his entire roster from last season, while the Grizzlies have a new coach in Alex Krilis. The two will hope to face off with each other later this season in the city playoffs.
