On Saturday, April 29, Head Varsity Baseball Coach of the Whitney Young Dolphins, Chris Cassidy, won his 500th career game. The Dolphins defeated Kennedy at home 8-4, showering Cassidy in celebration after the game.

Cassidy has been at coaching at Whitney Young since the 1995 season and has served as Athletic Director at the school for over a decade. Under Cassidy, the Dolphins have secured three city championships (’07, ’08 & ’10).
