The Kenwood Broncos Varsity Baseball team was honored at Wrigley Field prior to the Cubs vs. Phillies game on June 29, 2023, to recognize their historic 2023 season, that saw them secure the Chicago Public League Varsity Baseball Championship.
The Broncos secured their first-ever baseball championship in 2023 after an incredible season, finishing with a 27-5 overall record and 11-3 in conference.
Kenwood’s visit to Wrigley Field follows that of Taft High School, who was recognized earlier this season for their Varsity Softball Championship.
