CPS Gatorade Partnership For CPL Athletics
The Office of Sports Administration (OSA) is excited to announce its first-ever district-wide high school partnership with Gatorade.
It is the goal of OSA and Gatorade to promote a healthy and active lifestyle by providing our student-athletes with healthy snack and beverage options before, during, and after practices and competitions. In addition, OSA will use the partnership to help educate students on the importance of proper nutrition, hydration, training, and recovery through the integration of Gatorade products in each of our high school programs.
The Gatorade partnership will be providing all Chicago Public Schools (CPS district -managed) high schools with Gatorade products at the beginning of the fall (end of season 2021) , winter and spring season. This initiative will be fully funded by the Office of Sports Administration. Please review the list of products each school will be receiving below:
Gatorade Super Shakes
All district-managed high schools will receive a shipment of Gatorade Super Shakes as part of the partnership!
In accordance with our Office of Student Health and Welfare (OSHW) nutritional guidelines and protocols, the Gatorade products will be distributed to student-athletes only by coaches and school sports staff 30 minutes after the final bell at their respective school.
*Products will be sent prior to each sports season.
Gatorade Recover Whey Protein Bars
All district-managed high schools will receive a shipment of Gatorade Recover Whey Protein Bars as part of the partnership!
In accordance with our Office of Student Health and Welfare (OSHW) nutritional guidelines and protocols, the Gatorade products will be distributed to student-athletes only by coaches and school sports staff 30 minutes after the final bell at their respective school.
*Products will be sent prior to each sports season.
Gatorade Refridgerator
Each district-managed high school will receive ONE Gatorade Refrigerator to store all Gatorade products for their athletic programs. These refrigerators will be installed in a secure location at each school under direct supervision of school administration or athletic administration.
All district-managed high schools will receive a shipment of Gatorade Super Shakes as part of the partnership!

**NOTE: Schools are allowed to continue to order their own Gatorade products in accordance with traditional purchases at their own expense. The District will be covering the cost of ONLY the products listed abov.
