Documentary On CPS Icon Roy Curry Debuts Debuts, Highlighting Incredbile Impact And Legacy In Chicago And Football

Chicago Public Schools’ icon Roy Curry is synonymous with the sport of football in the city of Chicago. Curry, known primarliy for his historic leadership as the Head Football Coach at Robeson High School (now Englewood STEM) is now being recognized and honored in the documentary ‘Always A Winner: Roy Curry – A Quarterback Ahead Of His Time.

The film debuted a The Dusable Black History Museum and Education Center on Februray 9, 2024, and can now be found streaming on Bricktv.com. The documentary highlights the incredible life, legacy, career and impact Curry had and still has on the sport of football and the Chicagoland community. Curry is still an active supporter and mentor to many across the CPS District.
