High Schools Girls Flag Football will be entering its third season, and now will host over 60 + teams from CPS and 100 overall across the state as it looks to become an IHSA sport in 2024. Univision and the Chicago Bears featured our students and Senior Manager over flag football Juliana Zavala, to help tell the story of the incredible growth of the sport and its impact on and off the field for many athletes of minority background.

Simeon Basketball Coach Robert Smith is set to retire after the 2023 season. Smith has been leading the Simeon Wolverines for over 19 years and has captured 500+ career wins, 6 IHSA State Championships and his now record-holding 8th career City Title. Congratulations to Rob Smith!
