Chicago World Language Academy’s Jesse Anthony Sanchez made history as he secured the Gold Medal in the National Junior Olympics in Boxing! Jesse competed against other student-athletes from across the United States to secure the gold medal in the championship competition in Lubbock, Texas.
Jesse secured the medal for Team USA and continues to lead by example in both the classroom and in athletics as he enters eight grade this fall.
The District wishes a huge congratulations to Jesse, his family and the Chicago Language Academy community on this tremendous achievement!
