We are hoping to compete and be back-to-back regional champions this year and chase a sectional final appearance or title in a tough class and sectional. We are carrying over our momentum from a spectacular season last fall and hoping to surpass our win goal this year by at least 4 games. Our goal is to minimize mistakes and serve line-to-line aggressively. We also hope to play tough defense against the big teams. If we can do all of that, we will surpass 22 wins and get a regional championship.

Coach’s season outlook: With many of the sophomores from last year’s 8-1 winning JV season coming up to the varsity level I have high hopes for this year’s team. The Lady Firebirds have been hard at work this summer in the weight room 3x a week and attending Loyola University’s volleyball camp in July. Our fundamentals have improved over the summer so I am looking forward to seeing our program develop and take it to the next level in 2024 and in years to come!
