Mather defeated the other two teams tied for first during the regular season, however, due to one less conference game, they lost the tiebreaker. Heading into the 23/24 season, the program lost its top 3 scorers due to graduation. However, Mather expects to return 5 seniors for the upcoming season which will help balance out the young potential in the lineup.
